I make 16mm films that observe on encounters within often forgotten or overlooked communities, broken or intangible narratives contained within historical objects or spaces, personal biographies including portraiture, in diaristic writing and recordings on different cognitive experience, including glass delusion and amnesia/memory-loss.
My films are formed through collaborative actions and grounded in the observational, and are connected by ideas of queerness, enclosure, the quotidian, doubt, delay, the unfinished, care, disappearance, blindness, collaging, the plural, blurriness, cameras as obstructions, lenses as objections, the diaristic and episodic, seeking to record the contingencies and matter of different kinds of lived experience and thoughts.

From time to time I write about film and the moving image. In the past I worked with live performance, publishing and event and exhibition-making.
